This also works when you buy half a cow. You have no idea how big that is until the farmer comes by and ask if you got an empty freezer, cause you're gonna need it. Being a city girl turned country I learned we needed the 4 deer freezer. That was 5 years ago and we are still eating off that steer. Thanks to vac-u-seal -no freezer burn, good grass fed local beef can last years.
