Compost Rooster

Here is my red rooster hanging out in my compost pile. We have watermelon growing in our compost pile this year and he likes to nap under the leaves.

Our Log Home

Our house is finally done. The old painted wood is now covered in real stained logs. It looks like it goes with the trees around us. This is the view from our pond, very pleasing to our eyes. Thanks to all the hard work of Mark Clayburn and his team.

Orion SkyQuest

We were given a wonderful housewarming present to celebrate the completion of our house remodel, a telescope. We all joined in along with Daisy, the cat, to put together this giant telescope. Then we took it on the deck to look at the stars. Can hardly wait for the full moon later this month. We are so lucky in the Ozarks to have clear night skies with no light pollution to view all the stars and planets. And now all our guest can enjoy the skies, too.
