Our First Baby Filly is Born

This past Friday my vet called to tell me I am the owner of a baby filly. My newly purchased auction fox trotter mare gave birth to a very healthy red filly at 4:30am. Mama mare had no milk and so the foal needed colostrum in a feeding tube. I am so glad I sent my mare to the vet instead of staying here. She will be a healthy and stronger baby for it. My mare is 18+ years old and this might be her last foal. Now, I have to wait for my gray mare to give birth in July.
It is exciting and hard to realize we are horse parents overnight. Now we need help naming our mare and her filly. We are looking for spices or plant based names.
